What is the buttock crease?
The buttock crease is the area between the buttocks (medically called the Rima ani). Because heat, sweat, and friction accumulate there, it is particularly sensitive when shaving – and hardly accessible on its own. At alestetics®, this zone is called «Perianal».

The skin in the cleft between the buttocks. Treatment duration approx. 10 min. Sensitive area — constant cooling.
Buttocks (cheeks)
The areas to the left and right of the buttock crease. Often combined with the buttock crease for an even result.

Excluding the bikini line and perianal area. A very sensitive area — precise settings, continuous cooling.
Bikini line
The outer transition to the intimate area. Often chosen for a neat appearance when playing sport or at the beach.

Most men laser their intimate areas together – significantly cheaper as a package than individually. The packages (3–5 zones) apply to all areas of our men’s price list, including the back, chest, and beard. In the 5-session plan for 6 months, you pay for 4 sessions, the 5th is included.

Treatment
10–45 mins depending on the zone selected. Safety goggles, CrystalFreeze™ cooling, you provide feedback.
After the treatment
Slight redness may occur, but this will subside within a few hours. Avoid heat and saunas for 48 hours.
Shedding
The treated hairs will fall out 1–3 weeks after the session. This is normal.

After 4–6 weeks. We’ll adjust the intervals based on your response and your hair growth cycle.

How much does laser hair removal cost for the buttock crease and intimate area? +
At alestetics® in Zurich, the buttock crease costs CHF 150 per session, the buttocks CHF 200 and the intimate area CHF 150. Multiple zones: CHF 300 (3 zones), CHF 350 (4) or CHF 400 (5) per session; in the 6-month plan with 5 sessions CHF 1'200, 1'400 or 1'600.

How many sessions will I need? +
Usually 5–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart are needed to achieve a reduction of 80–90 %. Some people need 1–2 follow-up sessions per year.
Does treatment of the buttock crease hurt? +
Most people only experience a brief warmth sensation. We work with precise settings and the CrystalFreeze™ cooling of the Primelase® (5 °C) – our customers tolerate the treatment well.
Is it embarrassing to have the buttock crease lasered? +
No. Everyone has hair in the buttock crease, and around 9 out of 10 of our laser customers have it treated as well.
How discreet is the treatment? +
You will be treated in a private treatment room. We cover the intimate area with a towel and only slide it aside as far as necessary to make you feel comfortable. You can book the free consultation (30 min) online.
How do I prepare myself? +
Shave the area the day before the appointment; waxing and plucking are prohibited. If you don’t shave, we’ll do it on site for CHF 50 per area – but we recommend that you come prepared. 48 hours after the appointment, avoid heat and sauna; the hair will fall out 1–3 weeks later.
How long does an appointment take? +
Depending on the zones, it takes 10–45 minutes, the buttock crease alone about 10 minutes.
Does the laser work for every skin type and hair type? +
The Primelase® (810 nm) is suitable for skin types I–VI. We can treat light hair, unfortunately not gray hair; with red hair, it works in some cases – we will clarify this during the consultation.
