Perhaps you've been there:
After long days in front of the screen, your shoulders and neck feel as stiff as a board.
In the evening, you’re lying in bed, but your body remains "awake" — tense and restless.
After training, it takes a long time for your muscles to feel relaxed again.
The stress is literally weighing on your shoulders, and you find yourself hunching your shoulders without realising it.
You sleep restlessly and wake up feeling as though you haven’t had a proper rest at all.
A massage feels good — but after two days, the tension is back.
Why stress affects the body
Under constant stress, the body goes into a state of tension. The muscles in the neck, shoulders and back remain tense, blood flow to these areas decreases, and metabolic waste products are cleared away more slowly. The tissue remains stiff, and you are unable to relax physically.
Your autonomic nervous system is behind this. The sympathetic nervous system is the "fight-or-flight" mode that takes over when you’re under stress. Its counterpart, the parasympathetic nervous system, is the "rest and recovery" mode — in this state, the muscles relax, the heart rate slows and the body regenerates. For many people, the sympathetic nervous system is constantly overactive, and the body can no longer properly switch into recovery mode.
And stress causes ageing. If the tension persists, levels of the stress hormone cortisol remain elevated — and persistently high cortisol levels accelerate the ageing process. It inhibits collagen production, weakens the elastin network, reduces the skin’s moisture content and slows down tissue regeneration. The opposite of this is rest: the more often the body enters a state of rest, the less it is under constant stress. This is precisely what pre-ageing is all about — prevention rather than repair later on.
This also plays a role after exercise. Stressed muscles recover better when blood circulation and lymph flow help to remove metabolic waste products. This is precisely where gentle mechanical stimulation comes in.
What matters
- Tension reduces blood flow — Tense muscles are less well supplied with nutrients, and metabolic waste products build up.
- The body remains in the sympathetic state — the parasympathetic nervous system’s recovery mode is not being given enough attention.
- Cortisol causes ageing — Persistently elevated levels of the stress hormone accelerate the breakdown of collagen; rest is the best form of prevention.
- Stimulate blood circulation and lymph flow — this relieves deep-seated tension and aids recovery.
- Wind down is a physical process — Slow, rhythmic stimuli help the body to switch into rest mode.
What really relieves tension
What helps most is anything that relaxes the muscles and calms the body: exercise, warmth, stretching and a good night’s sleep. A traditional massage does you good — but the effect is often short-lived. Painkillers merely mask the tension without addressing the root cause.
You can bring about targeted changes by directly stimulating blood flow and microcirculation and releasing tension in the muscles through gentle, rhythmic vibrations. That is exactly what we do: we release deep-seated tension, support regeneration and put the body into recovery mode. To be honest, it’s all about relaxation, recovery and wellbeing — it is not a therapy for medical conditions such as chronic pain or fatigue. For us, however, it’s about more than just feeling good: because chronic stress causes the body to age, regularly winding down is part of ‘pre-ageing’ — prevention rather than cure.
Important: Persistent or severe pain, numbness, symptoms radiating into the arm or leg, or stiffness following an injury should first be assessed by a doctor. We do not treat patients with acute inflammation, infections accompanied by a fever, or an unstable cardiovascular condition.
How we relieve your tension
We use two gentle, device-assisted methods that relax the muscles and tissues through rhythmic microvibrations, stimulate microcirculation and put the body into a state of relaxation.

Core treatments
Endospheres® Therapy
Compressive microvibration using 55 silicone spheres, originally developed in sports medicine — designed to rid the muscles of metabolic waste products after exercise. Relieves tension, promotes microcirculation and recovery, is completely vacuum-free and deeply relaxing.

Redeem + activate
Using Endospheres® or Icoone®, we relieve tension through gentle microvibrations, stimulate blood and lymph circulation, and help the body enter a state of relaxation.
Maintaining a light touch
Many people feel more relaxed after just the first session. As stress and pressure are a constant part of everyday life, the best way to maintain the results is through regular sessions.
Expertise in lymphatic health and recovery — and honest advice.
Specialisation
Pre-Aging focus, female team with proven expertise according to V-NISSG, with a real focus on lymph, drainage and microcirculation. Exactly the expertise that is crucial for tension and regeneration.
Gentle and relaxing
We use microvibration and micro-vacuum at the cellular level, which is gentle on tissue and blood vessels — and so relaxing that many people find themselves unwinding completely during the treatment.
Honest advice
We’re open about what relaxation and recovery can and cannot achieve, and when it’s best to seek medical advice first. Even if you don’t book anything today.
You might be wondering
Does that really help with tension?
In the case of stress- and strain-related muscle tension, yes. In a randomised study, vibration and massage therapy promoted muscle recovery and reduced inflammation by improving blood circulation and lymphatic flow and accelerating the removal of metabolic waste products (Randomised trial, Frontiers in Physiology 2025). We achieve this effect using Endospheres® and Icoone®. To be honest: it’s all about relaxation and regeneration — it is not a medical treatment.
Why does this relax me so deeply?
Because gentle, rhythmic stimuli help the body to switch out of tension mode. The sympathetic nervous system is the "fight-or-flight" mode, whilst the parasympathetic nervous system is the "rest-and-recovery" mode. Studies show that mechanical massage increases heart rate variability and shifts the body towards the parasympathetic nervous system — in other words, it produces a measurable state of relaxation (Frontiers in Public Health 2020). That’s exactly what you feel when you’re winding down.
What does stress have to do with ageing and my skin?
More than many people realise. With prolonged stress, levels of the stress hormone cortisol remain elevated — and chronically high cortisol accelerates the ageing process. A clinical study showed that cortisol inhibits the production of collagen and elastin, reduces the skin’s moisture content and slows down skin regeneration (clinical trial, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology 2025). That is why we do not see stress relief as a luxury, but as part of pre-ageing: regularly winding down relieves the body of the strain caused by chronic stress, which accelerates the ageing process.
What does Endospheres® have to do with sport and lactic acid?
Endospheres® was developed in the field of sports medicine — by an engineer in collaboration with a phlebologist — with the aim of ridding the muscles of metabolic by-products such as lactic acid after exercise and promoting recovery. Compressive microvibration relieves tension and stimulates microcirculation. It is therefore ideal for use after intensive training.
Does this help after exercise or with sore muscles?
Yes. Stressed muscles recover better when blood circulation and lymphatic flow help to remove metabolic waste products. Gentle microvibration after a workout can relieve feelings of heaviness and stiffness and aid recovery.
Is it like a normal massage?
Just as pleasant, but different. Instead of manual techniques, we use rhythmic microvibration with Endospheres® and micro-vacuum with Icoone®, which act evenly and deeply into the tissue. Many people find the effect more long-lasting than a traditional massage.
How many sessions will I need?
A single session provides immediate relaxation. For lasting results in cases of chronic tension, a course of sessions is usually advisable. As stress and strain are a constant part of everyday life, the best way to maintain that sense of lightness is through regular sessions.
What can I do myself to relieve tension?
A few things. Make sure you exercise regularly, take breaks from the screen, stretch your neck and shoulders, and ensure you get a good night’s sleep and stay warm. Conscious, slow breathing helps your body switch into recovery mode.
How much does treatment cost?
Endospheres® and Icoone® cost CHF 250 per session each; you can find treatment packages on the Price list. We’ll discuss how many sessions would be suitable for you during the free consultation.
