The technology
What Volnewmer® does
Volnewmer® is a monopolar radiofrequency device (6.78 MHz) from the Korean company Classys, CE-marked and FDA-cleared. It warms the deep skin uniformly, while water cools the surface. Existing collagen fibers contract, new collagen and elastin are produced. There is a separate small eye tip for the eyelids.

How much does Volnewmer® cost at alestetics® in Zurich?
Open Eye (eye area, 200 shots) costs CHF 700. Full face (600 shots) CHF 1'600. Face + Neck + Decolleté (1'000 shots) CHF 2'500. Neck individually (200 shots) CHF 700. Additional shots cost CHF 3.50. Dermalux™ LED, mask, SPF 50 and head massage are always included.
Can I only treat the eyes with Volnewmer®?
Yes, with Open Eye: upper and lower eyelids as well as crow’s feet with the special eye tip; 200 shots for CHF 700. Because the eye area is connected to the forehead and cheeks, we recommend treating the whole face if there is significant sagging.
Does Volnewmer® help with hooded eyelids?
In cases of mild sagging eyelids and soft lower eyelids, Volnewmer® can visibly tighten the skin. In cases of severe excess skin, it does not replace eyelid surgery. We will discuss what is possible for you in the free AURA 3D skin analysis.
Does Volnewmer® hurt?
Volnewmer® is well-tolerated. You feel warmth and a slight pulsation, but no sharp pain. The continuous water cooling protects the skin surface and keeps the heat uniform.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually one session is sufficient. For more pronounced sagging, we recommend two sessions at an interval of about 6 months. After that, 1 session per year is sufficient to maintain the results. We determine the rhythm in the AURA 3D skin analysis.
When will I see the result?
You’ll see the first tightening immediately after the session. The full effect takes 3 to 6 months to develop, because the skin forms new collagen during this time.
Is there any downtime?
Usually not. Rarely, there is a slight redness or swelling that disappears after one to two days. You can return to your daily routine immediately after that. You should avoid sports, sauna, and strong heat for 24 hours.
What are the experiences with Volnewmer®?
We have been working with Volnewmer® since May 2025, as the first clinic in Switzerland. Our clients primarily describe a fresher look and a clearer contour that builds up over weeks. What is the difference between Volnewmer® and Thermage?
Both use monopolar radiofrequency. Thermage delivers energy in short pulses with gas cooling, which is often described as more intense. Can I combine Volnewmer® with Botox or dermal fillers?
Yes, at least 4 weeks after freshly injected fillers. Volnewmer® first firms the base, then injections are administered. In the case of permanent fillers in the treatment area, we discuss this individually during the consultation.
