What EXILIS Ultra is.
EXILIS Ultra 360 is an FDA-cleared device from BTL Aesthetics that delivers monopolar radiofrequency and ultrasound simultaneously via an applicator — for tightening and contouring the body.
Combining both energies brings the tissue to target temperature faster and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Built-in cooling and Energy Flow Control (EFC) direct heat to the exact depth needed — from the dermis down to the fat layer. On the body, where skin is thicker than on the face, this pairs skin tightening with a gradual reduction of local fat cells. The session feels like a warm stone massage and needs no downtime.

Method

Before we use EXILIS Ultra, we stimulate the lymphatic system and relieve tension using Icoone® or Endospheres®. The heat only works evenly on soft, well-drained tissue. We adjust the energy output for each area and plan a course of treatment rather than a single session.

The results come from the sequence of treatments, not from any single device. The lymphatic system needs to flow, and the tissues need to be supple — only then will the heat work deeply and evenly.
Preparation
Before that
- Icoone® Laser Med
Stimulate lymph flow, break down hardened tissue, and soften the tissue. The RF heat is distributed more evenly across the prepared tissue.
- Endospheres® Therapy
As a 30-minute add-on for the whole body (CHF 150) for each EXILIS session: The lymph is purified, the tissue is soft, the heat is more even distributed. Gently and without vacuum.
During the session
Same session / immediately afterwards

After warming up, get the lymphatic system flowing to improve drainage and achieve a more rounded result.
Aftercare

During the free body consultation, we identify the areas to be treated, set your goals and establish a suitable treatment schedule, whilst checking that your lymphatic system is functioning properly and that your tissue is soft. If not, we’ll start with Icoone® or Endospheres®. AURA 3D is available on request.

Comfortable warmth, no downtime.
The skin is prepared using a contact gel. EXILIS Ultra combines radiofrequency and ultrasound with built-in cooling — you’ll feel a pleasant, adjustable warmth. Have a glass of water or our lymph-boosting tea before and after the treatment.

After the treatment
No downtime; implementation takes several weeks.
At most, a slight redness for a short time. The skin’s texture changes early on; visible firming becomes apparent over the course of the treatment, and the full results develop over a period of around three months. Maintenance varies depending on the area.

How long will the downtime last?
No downtime. You may experience a slight redness or a feeling of warmth in the treated area for a short while — after that, you’ll be back to your normal routine straight away.
When will I see the first results?
The skin often starts to feel different quite early on. Visible firming develops over several weeks, with the full results becoming apparent after around three months.

Is EXILIS Ultra a weight-loss device?
No. EXILIS Ultra is designed to tighten and contour the skin, not to reduce body weight. For stubborn localised fat deposits, we combine it with CLATUU Alpha® where necessary.
How does EXILIS Ultra differ from older RF devices?
EXILIS Ultra uses radio frequency and ultrasound at the same time via an applicator. This reduces the time taken to reach the treatment temperature and makes the treatment more comfortable than devices that use RF alone.
When is EXILIS Ultra not an option?
EXILIS Ultra is not suitable for patients with pacemakers or electronic implants, metal implants in the treatment area, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, or in cases of active infections or open wounds in the area. If in doubt, we will clarify this during the consultation.
