CLATUU Alpha® is a medical device that cools the fat deposit from all around (360°), can treat two zones simultaneously, and has its own attachment for double chins. Prices vary greatly. Cosmetic studios offer cryotherapy treatments starting at around CHF 150, while medical cryolipolysis using brand-name equipment like CoolSculpting® usually costs CHF 600 to 800 per area or per side in Zurich. No. It removes localised fat deposits, but is not a substitute for weight loss and is not suitable for obesity. It is ideal for people whose weight is stable, with a BMI of around 25–30.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that requires anaesthesia and involves a recovery period. CLATUU is non-invasive and does not require anaesthesia; you can resume your normal daily activities straight away — though the results are gradual and are best suited for moderate amounts of fat.

Yes, if it is a fat pad. With our own small double-chin applicator, we treat the area under the chin without surgery and without needles, as a single zone for CHF 600. Many see a noticeable result after just one session; the full result is visible after two to three months. If the skin is rather sagging, we later combine it with skin tightening like Volnewmer®.

In cases of certain cold-related conditions (cryoglobulinaemia, cold haemoglobinuria, Raynaud’s phenomenon), during pregnancy, in the presence of active infections or open wounds in the treatment area, and if the skin fold is too thin for the applicator. If in doubt, we will clarify this during the consultation.
